A NEW DUAL DMD/MBA program annouced by Dean Chip Hunter (Fox) and Dean Amid Ismail (Temple Dental) will incorporate several dental public health and practice management courses in the requirement for completing the MBA degree.
To earn an MBA degree, candidates must complete a total of 42 credits in the DMD program (30 core credits and 12 elective credits).
New cohorts start in the MBA programs in August (Fall), January (Spring) or April (Summer). Advanced standing and transfer students are not eligible for the DMD/MBA program, unless they formally take and pass all the elective courses and can finish the program within the time allowed in contractual agreement. The MBA will not be conferred without DMD conferral.
