Commencement 2025

The Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University held its Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 16th, at the Academy of Music. A total of 150 earned their DMD degrees; in addition, 38 specialty degrees were conferred (15 of whom earned both a certificate and the MS): AEGD 8, DPH 2, ENDO 5, ORTHO 6, PERIO 4, and OMS 1, MS 12 stand alone plus the 15 residents from ENDO, ORTHO, and PERIO.

Dean Ismail welcomed and addressed the gathering of family, friends and the Temple Dental community. The keynote address was given by Jennifer Unis Sullivan, DMD, JD, FCLM; Aaron Segal, DDS, offered the faculty address and the student speaker was Dikshitha Shankar, DMD ’25. Ronald D. Silverman, DDS ’72, gave the alumni address.

Dean Ismail, Dr. Louis DiPede and program directors presented the specialty certificates and Dean Ismail and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs Maria Fornatora presented the DMD diplomas and awards.
